We stick to supplying the Java type for its ability to yield large amounts of oil & be more cost effective in comparison to Sri Lanka (Cymbopogon Nardus) material. Its Lemon like scent has proved popular in many formulations due to is aroma profile, ability to blend with other essential oils and most of all it is a folklore essential oil that has been used for its functionalities in tropical regions for centuries for its ability to deter & soothe insect bites. Rich in Citronellal this ingredient can be applied to a number of soap, detergents, skin care & hair care formulations.
