Superdrug’s Video GP Service allows you to consult with a qualified GP remotely through a video or telephone call. You can access healthcare advice, prescriptions, and referrals from the comfort of your home or anywhere with an internet connection.

Through the Video GP Service, you can also book appointments with physiotherapists, dietitians and mental health counsellors.

You can book an appointment at videogp-superdrug-com.vo5-superdrug.com. Simply log in or create an account, choose the type of consultation you would like to book, select a time slot, and fill out the necessary details to confirm your appointment.

If booking a video consultation, you will need:

  1. A device with a camera (smartphone, tablet, or computer)
  2. A stable internet connection
  3. A private and quiet space for the consultation

If booking a telephone consultation, you will need:

  1. Stable phone network coverage
  2. A private and quiet space for the consultation

The Superdrug Video GP Service is not a replacement for any regular, longer-term health service(s) you are normally registered with such as your NHS GP. You may still need to see a healthcare professional face to face if the clinician feels it is necessary.

This service should not be used in emergencies. In emergencies, please contact your local emergency service.

We cannot provide the following:

  • Repeat Prescriptions except some forms of contraceptive pills and some forms of HRT
  • Prescriptions for controlled drugs
  • Treatment for ongoing and chronic conditions

The services cost:

  • GP £49.00 per consultation. Additional costs will for private prescriptions
  • Dietitian: £69.00 per consultation
  • Physiotherapy: £59.00 per consultation

Yes, if the Video GP determines it’s appropriate for your condition, they can issue prescriptions which can be sent electronically to most pharmacies

The service is available during extended hours every day. Availability may vary based on demand and the day of the week.

Yes, all consultations are completely confidential. The service follows strict privacy guidelines and complies with healthcare regulations to ensure your information is protected.

If the GP believes that your condition requires a physical examination or is outside the scope of video consultations, they may signpost you to an in-person appointment with your local GP, specialist, or hospital.

Currently, the service is only available to residents of the UK. You will need a UK address

If you miss your appointment, please contact patient-portal-support@healthhero.com as soon as possible. You may be able to reschedule the appointment, but please note that cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee depending on the terms of your booking.

You can cancel or reschedule your appointment through your account. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees.
